Terms of Service

Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Unbroken Car website and application (the "service"), operated under the name Unbroken Car by EZ Dev. By creating an account, accessing, or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you are using the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
Eligibility
The service is intended for adults and vehicle owners. You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in order to use the service. By using the service you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. The service is not directed to, and may not be used by, children under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone who does not meet these requirements, we may suspend or terminate it.
Accounts
You sign in using your phone number with a one-time password, or, where available, through Google or Apple sign-in. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your device, sign-in method, and access credentials secure; please notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised use. You agree to provide accurate and current information, including a valid email and accurate vehicle details where you choose to enter them, and to keep that information up to date. You are responsible for the data you enter and for ensuring you have the right to share any phone numbers or email addresses of people you invite to a car group.
Subscriptions and billing
The Free plan is available at no cost. The Plus plan is ₪9.90/month or ₪99/year, and the Family plan is ₪19.90/month or ₪199/year; both paid plans include a 14-day free trial (one per account). Paid plans are billed through the App Store, Google Play, or our web payment provider, depending on how you subscribe, and those providers process your payment. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel before the end of the current term. You can cancel at any time through the relevant app store or payment provider, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; the refund policies of the App Store, Google Play, or our web payment provider apply to any refund requests. Prices are shown in Israeli Shekels (₪) and may change over time; we will give you reasonable advance notice of any price change, and continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Intellectual property
Unbroken Car and its operator, EZ Dev, own, or are licensed to use, the application and website, all software, source code, design, look and feel, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and all other content that makes up the service, except for the data you submit. All such rights are protected by intellectual-property and other laws, and all rights are reserved. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use the service for your own personal or otherwise permitted use, in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, adapt, translate, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, scrape, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works from any part of the service, except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law. The Unbroken Car name, logos, and trademarks may not be used without our prior written permission.
Your content
You retain ownership of the data and content you submit to the service, including your vehicle details, mileage readings, service logs, and uploaded receipts ("your content"). You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, reproduce, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the service to you and to the car groups you participate in, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You are solely responsible for your content, including its accuracy and legality and your right to submit it, and you must not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share. If you send us suggestions, ideas, or other feedback about the service, you agree that we may use it without any obligation or compensation to you.
Marketing emails and newsletter
By signing up or having your access approved, the email address you provide is stored and may be used to send you our newsletter and promotional mail about Unbroken Car. Every such message includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also leave (or rejoin) the mailing list at any time from your profile settings. Unsubscribing from marketing mail does NOT stop operational and administrative messages (sign-in links, access approvals, security and account notices, account-deletion notices, reminder notifications you enabled, and replies to your own enquiries), which are required to operate the service. Reminder notifications can be controlled separately in your notification settings.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it to violate the rights of others or any applicable law. To prevent abuse, the number of cars that can be removed or replaced within a rolling period is limited by your plan tier, and automated or bulk querying of vehicle data, or repeatedly cycling cars to extract registry data, is prohibited and may result in suspension of your account.
Third-party services
The service relies on, links to, or integrates with third-party services, including the Apple App Store, Google Play, our web payment provider, authentication providers, and vehicle reference and recall data sourced from the Israeli public vehicle registry (data.gov.il). Your use of those third-party services, and any content or links to other websites, is governed by the relevant third party's own terms and privacy policies, not by these Terms. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their content, and we make no warranties about them. Vehicle registry data is provided by its source as-is, and we are not responsible for its accuracy or completeness.
Maintenance disclaimer
Maintenance schedules, intervals, and mileage estimates are guidance only and may be inaccurate. Always follow your manufacturer's official service manual and consult a qualified mechanic. We are not responsible for vehicle damage, missed service, or related costs.
Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at any particular time, or that the information, schedules, recommendations, or vehicle data provided through it will be accurate, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose. Any reliance you place on the service is at your own risk. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer-protection rights.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or vehicle-related costs, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer-protection law.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Unbroken Car and EZ Dev, and our officers, employees, and agents, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses, including legal fees, arising out of or related to your misuse of the service, your breach of these Terms, your content, or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
Termination and suspension
You may stop using the service at any time and may delete your account from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access to the service, in whole or in part, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, or where we are required to do so by law or to protect the service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends; sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will continue to apply. Account deletion and the handling of your data on termination are described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and the competent courts located in Israel will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service. This does not affect any mandatory consumer-protection rights or the jurisdiction of the courts of your country of residence where such rights apply to you and cannot be waived.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service or for legal or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page, and where the changes are material we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of them. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the service and may delete your account.
Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced in them, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
