Our Team
A small team with an outsized obsession with honesty
We're builders from engineering, design, and support who got tired of car ownership feeling like a gamble. This is how we work, and an open door if you want to help us fix it.
We hire for judgment and care, not just résumés. The job is to earn a driver's trust, and you don't fake that.
How we think about the team
The values we actually run on
Not poster slogans, but the working principles that show up in code reviews, design crits, and support replies.
Honesty first
We say what we're confident about and flag what we're not. We'd rather be trusted than impressive, internally and to drivers.
Driver empathy
Every decision starts from the person behind the wheel: stressed, busy, and not fluent in mechanic. Clarity is a feature.
Ship and learn
We move in small, reversible steps, put real things in front of real drivers, and let evidence settle debates.
Craft that lasts
Trust compounds, and so does sloppiness. We sweat the details because durable software is how we keep it.
Low ego, high standards
Strong opinions, held loosely. The best idea wins, whoever it comes from. We disagree kindly.
Own the outcome
We care about whether a driver was actually helped, not whether a ticket was closed. Ownership beats hand-offs.
How we work
- 1
Start from the driver's question
Before we write a line of code, we get specific about the real worry we're answering: "is this safe to drive?", "can this wait?", "what will it cost?"
- 2
Prototype in the open
We build the smallest honest version, share it early across disciplines, and invite hard feedback before we're attached to it.
- 3
Test against reality
We check guidance against real vehicles and real records. If we can't be confident, we say so rather than guess.
- 4
Ship, measure, refine
We release deliberately, watch how drivers actually use it, and keep tightening clarity, accuracy, and trust.
What we're building
Three crafts, one shared goal
We're a tight, cross-functional team where engineering, design, and support sit close together. No silos, no throwing work over the wall. Just people who care about the same outcome solving it from different angles.
- Engineering: modeling vehicle health and shipping reliable, trustworthy intelligence.
- Design: turning complex signals into plain language a stressed driver can act on.
- Support: staying close to drivers so their real problems shape what we build next.
Want to help make cars unbreakable?
We're growing deliberately and we're always glad to meet people who share the obsession. Tell us how you'd want to contribute.
